The Great Plan - Part 2 - Speed Racer

Resuming the sword Mountain Race, Ace and his gang approaches from its opposite direction. Speed revving off the road, uses the rotary saws to cut through a path to the overgrown terrain. Trixie creates a distraction by bombing the gang with smoke-filled flares coming from her helicopter. Duggery makes a decision to take a shortcut at a cross-road. Spped thinking that the shortcut leads to a very dangerous volcano, he rescues him.
Meanwhile, Ace and the gang targets at Trixie. With the helicopter plummeling, Trixie escapes. At the volcano’s edge, Duggery is thrown off from his car and is left dangling on a rock. Speed now ending up on a rock shelf and saving his competitor to safety, the gang surrounds the Mach 5, with Trixie being taken hostage.
Spritle and Chim Chim hiding in the Mach 5’s trunk, throws rocks at Ace’s gang while Speed, Duggery, and Trixie fight back. Now Ace drives off with the Mach 5. Now Speed following Ace’s racecar in hot pursuit, he is near of reaching him. Now jumping to the Mach 5, he wrestles the pistol out of Ace’s hand. Accidentlly, Ace’s foot touches the auto-jack button, propelling him out of the car. Now Speed slamming on the brakes, the car stops. Ace reappearing, Speed kicks him off the cliff. Back at the race, Speed passes Duggery and wins the race.

Loved the show still now like I did as a kid!

I have loved this show still as I did when I was a kid back in Miami and a teen Back where I live here in TN. We see how the Mach 5 is made from jumping off clips, lights, going Underwater, and sending messages.

It is a very special car and that Speed really takes pride in it. But it is in danger of falling into the wrong hands of Ace & his gang.

Speed & Trixie are adapt at martial arts as we can see. In order to not let Ace get the designs, Speed breaks the window. That won’t make him win but that is the beginning of a legend to come.

Speed Racer is a show featuring a young racer named Speed and his ultimate driving machine, the Mach 5. Originally aired in Japan as Mahha Go Go Go (translation: Mach Five Go Go - "go" also means five), Speed Racer combines racing with international intrigue. Joining Speed is an unforgettable cast of characters, including Mom and Pops Racer, girlfriend Trixie, little brother Spritle and his pet monkey Chim Chim, mechanic Sparky, and the mysterious Racer X. Characters Speed Racer: Speed is an eighteen year old car driver, and is one of the youngest in the international racing cicuit. Speed also has martial art talents and tried to do the right thing whenever possible. Trixie: Speed's girlfriend, she is a seventeen year old pilot of airplanes and helicopters and often rides along as Speed's assistant and navigator. Racer X (Rex Racer): Rex is Speed's older brother, who left home years before after a dispute with Pops over a crashed car. He eventually became one of the world's best drivers and a secret agent for the International Secret Service. Spritle: Spritle is Speed's little brother and turned eight years of age in the episode "The Royal Racer." Spritle and Chim Chim usually always follow along Trixie and Speed in the trunk of their Mach 5 car. Chim Chim: Chim Chim is the family's pet chimpanzee, and Spritle's best friend. Chim Chim makes it his duty that Trixie and Speed get home safely.
