The Great Plan (Part 1) - Speed Racer

When winning a practice race, Speed Racer is offered a position of team for the Grand Prix race. The company who employed his father, Pops Racer, top engineer, owns the team. Speed declined because he thinks that Pops won’t allow him to be pro. Later on, Pops gives up on his plans on improving the Mach 5 when they were rejected.
When Pops and Speed are driving on their way home, motorcycle racers come in and snatch the plans. Trixie buzzes them in her helicopter. She drives the gang off and the plans are recovered. Now at the Cyclist Headquarters, Ace Ducey who’s a bad guy shows up and makes a deal to get back the plans for 5,000 clams. Confronting Pops, he leaves empty handed. Pops hid the designs on a spare Mach 5 windshield using invisible ink.
Making a decision to sell the Mach 5 in order for Pops to rebuild the engine, Speed makes a visit to Sparky, who suggests that Speed should enter the Sword Mountain Race for a $5,000 prize. Taking out the Mach 5 for a road test, Dirty Driver Duggery rams the car, causing Speed to throw a wheel and crash. Back at the garage, the car is repaired.
Now the race begins: Ace and his gang go after the Mach 5 where the designs is hidden. Speed guesses where the plans are hidden and avoids getting his tires shredded by Ace’s gang by hitting the auto jack button. The Mach 5 is propelled over the guardrail.

This is the beginning of a legend and that still
Goes on after over forty years. About a teenage race
Car driver. Named Speed Racer who drives the special Mach 5 Car that his father Pops Racer has designed for a company.

But Pops is fed up with the politics of the company.
As a secret group wants to get designs on the plans.
Speed wants to enter a race but without his father’s permission. After a past that has Pops forbidding Speed to enter into.

But nonetheless, Speed enters his very first race. Unaware that crooks want to steal the Mach 5’s plans and use it for their own evil plans.

Speed Racer is a show featuring a young racer named Speed and his ultimate driving machine, the Mach 5. Originally aired in Japan as Mahha Go Go Go (translation: Mach Five Go Go - "go" also means five), Speed Racer combines racing with international intrigue. Joining Speed is an unforgettable cast of characters, including Mom and Pops Racer, girlfriend Trixie, little brother Spritle and his pet monkey Chim Chim, mechanic Sparky, and the mysterious Racer X. Characters Speed Racer: Speed is an eighteen year old car driver, and is one of the youngest in the international racing cicuit. Speed also has martial art talents and tried to do the right thing whenever possible. Trixie: Speed's girlfriend, she is a seventeen year old pilot of airplanes and helicopters and often rides along as Speed's assistant and navigator. Racer X (Rex Racer): Rex is Speed's older brother, who left home years before after a dispute with Pops over a crashed car. He eventually became one of the world's best drivers and a secret agent for the International Secret Service. Spritle: Spritle is Speed's little brother and turned eight years of age in the episode "The Royal Racer." Spritle and Chim Chim usually always follow along Trixie and Speed in the trunk of their Mach 5 car. Chim Chim: Chim Chim is the family's pet chimpanzee, and Spritle's best friend. Chim Chim makes it his duty that Trixie and Speed get home safely.
